Not buried.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\">That unfold on the surface, in full light.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\">Universal arborescence. Of water, arteries, nerves\u2026vascular.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><em>Par la pens\u00e9e de l&rsquo;errance nous refusons les racines uniques et qui tuent<br \/>\nautour d&rsquo;elles :<br \/>\nla pens\u00e9e de l&rsquo;errance est celle des enracinements solidaires et des racines<br \/>\nen rhizome.(1)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">My roots are not what restrains me but are part of me.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\"> They add to my complexity and enable encounters, to be opened-minded.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\"> The robust and fragile, tie me to my memories, real or imaginary.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\"> They stretch and lead me.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\"> Some detach themselves.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\"> And so I walk, my roots under arm, with the mixed scent of almond and cherry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">From the orchards of Damascus\u2026<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\"> wandering souls pursuing the west.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><em>(1) Edouard Glissant in Plilosophy of Relation (ed. Guattary in Mille plateaux.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>*This French expression has no sens in English because it is aligned to an episode<br \/>\nof French history.
